Practice Management
The practice manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.
We want to give you the best possible service and welcome any comments you may have. If you have a complaint it will be taken seriously and dealt with promptly. You may make such a complaint either verbally or in writing. Please direct any comments or queries to Julie Higginson — Practice Manager.
Administration
The Clinical Team is supported by our Administrative team. This includes Receptionists, Secretaries and Clerical staff. Together they work with our patients and clinicians, monitor referrals to Consultants and hospitals, administer prescription requests, book appointments and generally ensure the smooth running of our surgery. To ensure an efficient flow of information, it may be necessary for our staff to request certain clinical information. All practice staff are bound by patient confidentially agreements. Should you have any concerns or comments regarding our administrative team, our Operations Manager Lucy Corry will be happy to discuss these.
