If you have been referred for more treatments or tests, you can check on the referral using our online form. You will need a letter of referral from your GP if you would like to see a private specialist or consultant.

You can book a referral through the NHS referral service. You can also check a referral by using the NHS website or App.

You will need your NHS account login details and the NHS App to access the App.

Anxiety, Depression and Stress

B&NES Talking Therapies have been commissioned since September 2013 by Bath and North East Somerset Clinical Commissioning Group (Banes CCG) and have been known as Banes Primary Care Talking Therapies Service since April 2015.

Drugs and Alcohol

Developing Health & Independence Alcohol and Drug services ensures that their clients have the support they need to give up substances and get back an independent life.

Exercise

B&NES Passport to Health is the local exercise referral service for people who are inactive and have (or are at risk of developing) other long term medical conditions.

Physiotherapy

B&NES physiotherapy out-patients service provides holistic assessment and treatment for a range of painful joint, muscle and nerve problems.

Podiatry

B&NES Community Health and Care Services Podiatry Team provides diagnosis and treatment of feet and lower limb problems for people who are registered with a GP in Bath and North East Somerset (B&NES).

Sexual Health

The Riverside Clinic offer free, friendly, non-judgemental and confidential testing, treatment and advice for sexually transmitted infections, and offer contraception including emergency contraception, contraceptive pills, implants and injections, intrauterine devices/systems (also known as coils), and condoms.

Smoking Cessation

B&NES  Stop Smoking Service is a free confidential service offering support and advice to local smokers who either want to stop smoking or to cut down the amount they smoke.

This service is for smokers aged 12 years and over who live, work or are registered with a GP in Bath and North East Somerset. We also offer support to pregnant smokers through our Health and Pregnancy Advisors.

Young Carers

Bath and North East Somerset Carers’ Centre is here to help young carers of all ages who live in Bath and North East Somerset.

Youth Counselling

Kooth is an online counselling and emotional well-being platform for children and young people, accessible through mobile, tablet and desktop and free at the point of use.
